Megan is a Scottish Writer, Director and Senior Creative. With degrees from Kings College London and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, her background is in traditional theatre and film. She now works primarily across immersive, interactive and commercial experiences.
Her writing specialty is blended writing utilising newage technologies and experimental form. Additional skills include adaptations of existing IP, character, dialogue and game writing.
Her directing specialties include close- proximity interaction, personalised storylines within group setting; and crafting authentic audience experiences. Her performance direction is centred around building the ensemble, emotional scaffolding and discovery through guided improvisation.
Megan additionally consults for immersive theatre, advising in script development, live cast strategy, show flow and operations.
After co-running a film company for five years, Megan also occasionally still produces projects she is passionate about - her award-winning film work includes VANILLA, premiered Locano FF; ONE FRENCH SUMMER (James Smith) premiered Raindance FF; THE SEA (Anna Friel, Russell Tovey) in association with Alzheimer’s UK; and HOPING (Elle L) premiered with CLASH.
